請問，俺潮州話叫 [揖手] 做乜個？

這個我問過一擺了，是呾未有人應我，希望這擺有好心人賜教！

As this is no longer a daily term, it's really hard to know how it is said. I knew 揖 was ip in Minnan from Douglas', but as to 揖手 it is not shown in that dictionary I did not know it should be ip-chhiú or ip-siú. After seeing this new post I checked Fielde's and found it showed ip-că that fits the ip-tsa you asked before. Then I checked the Supplement to Douglas' and found it had ip-jiā. From 台語線頂字典, jiā could be 諾. By sound rules, this jiā in Minnan should be the same as tsă in Chaozhou. Then I googled to see if 揖諾 was an established term. The answer was positive. Further checks in Douglas'  found chhiùⁿ-jiā and chhiùⁿ-hiā. Even though Douglas thought jiā or hiā was 揖 and chhiùⁿ was also 揖, yet I thought  chhiùⁿ should be 唱 instead. Therefore I googled again for 唱諾 and found it was also an established term. This shoudl be enough to explain the whole matter.

這生我公嫲攏是呾huai2咯，[ip4 tsa3]，[ip4 tsu3] 攏唔對，着欲是[揖諾]（ip4 tsa6），感謝阿Tim兄其力落講究。

刘尧咨《说潮州话》记载府城话把“作揖、拱手”说为ip-tsăi。

蔡俊明《潮州方言词汇》记载揭阳话是把作揖叫做ip-tsă。例句提到“教猴ip-tsă”（教猴子作揖）。

都是阳上调，但韵尾有别。

是 揖喏。

另外忽然想起，也许跟小孩子玩躲猫猫（参见此贴）的那个词的“tă/chiă”也是“喏”。因为这里的喏其实类似一声“hello/salut”，正好是和移开遮挡物和小孩子对面时的情景相符，等于和小孩子邂逅见面打招呼的意思。闽南说hiah8，似乎也有关联。

Just checked 國臺對照活用辭典 by 吳守禮 and he also used 唱諾 for chhiùⁿ-jiā.

明·李詡（1505-1593）《戒庵老人漫筆·卷五》“今古方言大略”記述的似乎是吳語，其中說：
“作揖謂之唱喏。”

西游记里头老猴就常唱喏。
